For the weekend, find two online sources for your poet's biography (except for Wikipedia and about.com). Read up, and write your own biography, which should be a good, solid paragraph in length, and cover key information from your poet's life. Print out your original sources, and bring these (as well as a copy of the biography you've written) to class for the next session.

The best method of preparing for this is quiz is to write activities that you like to do, or not do. Add the adverbs of frequency to your sentences. You can also add expressions to say "on Mondays" or any other day of the week.

French: In class we completed CAHIER page 41, #10. See textbook page 116 at the top of the page. When using the verb FAIRE + the negative (ne...pas), the du, de la or de l' changes to de or d'.
For example: Je ne fais pas de sport, mais (but) je joue aux cartes.
The sentence with the verb jouer + activity + the negative, (ne...pas) will remain the same. 
Example: Nous ne jouons pas aux cartes.
Activity # 9 uses the subject pronoun 'ON' to describe a generalized statement.

French and Spanish - January 4, 2011

French and Spanish: Students have set up their individual Gloster.edu account. The project handout was given to students on 1/03/2011 with a presentation on how to create a glog and how to use the HMS citation machine for works cited. Students will need to continue to work on their glogs at home or after school.
Extra help will be on Tuesday and Thursday of this week in order to work on the glog outside of class.
The final due date is Monday, January 10, 2011.
